Ingredients: Diatomaceous Earth (uncalcined).

Diatomaceous earth(D.E.) is a naturally occurring, soft, siliceous sedimentary rock that comes from the fossilized remains of diatoms, a type of hard-shelled algae. It is pet-safe and a natural way to control parasites on dogs and cats. Trace minerals in D.E. may also help in the maintenance of good health.

There are a few ways of using Diatomaceous Earth:

• Apply directly on your pet's coat, rub it into fur to cover area such as the neck, back, and tail, where fleas and ticks like to hide. Avoid your pet's face, eyes, and nose area to avoid inhalation.
• Apply to pet bedding, carpet, and areas where fleas and ticks might be present. Leave the powder in place for some time before vacuuming it up.
• For oral use with food. See below for dosage.
